BEFORE ANYTHING! I wanna tell you: before anyone says that this kind of fanfiction of irl ppl isn't popoular for a reason, think about all the other fanfics you've probably read. This is at the same level of all of those, I just wanted to create the fanfic I always looked for, just like you, get it? This is my first fanfiction btw!! So, in this AU, set between 1983-84, Lars is FTM and is out only to James, his closest friend, but if it wasn't for him, he would be second only to Kirk. And Kirk will be the one to confess his feelings to Lars, who will feel "forced" to tell him about his identity before Kirk wants to do anything... freaky, yk? That's actually the plot of the first chapetrs, so there will be more :D!!! It's also going to be a story of growth, from all the 4 band members

A 17 year old James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich meet each other in an unexpected place and after a while, decide to form a band together. Along with Kirk Hammett and Dave Mustaine, they form a Thrash Metal band; Metallica. But the band faces some consequences on their journey to a successful life. Will they get through this? Or will there come an end to the band?

He was alone. At least, he thought he was. Was he? He didn't know. He couldn't see anyone. He couldn't see him. He started to panic. He started trying to call for him, but couldn't hear or see him. Then, like sunlight shooting through the darkest thundercoulds, he saw him there. He reached for him... Then he woke up, next to him. It had been a dream. He looked at him there, sleeping peacefully, and smiled. He gently ran a hand through his blonde curls, then laid back down, wrapping his arms around him and fitting his body against his, then slowly drifted back into his mind, his world of stars and constellations.
