This is a first person story from Yin's POV. Have you ever wondered what Yin and War are like when they're not working or in the public eye? Find out what they're really like through Yin's Eyes as their personal and professional lives are shown to you. This is a story based on my own imagination, this is not based on any real events or actions. This is entirely my own imagination of them. This story in no way represents the personalities and relations of Yin and War.

The so- called "crooked street", actually called Oak Street, is the heart of the slum. It teems with beggars, the homeless and above all, children. Many children never reach the adulthood, dying of starvation, exposure, or murder. Only a few manage to survive through illegal activities, theft, cruelty, independent thinking and resourcefulness. One of these children is Mio. He has lived on the streets since his father's death seven years ago and is an important member of the... well, the organisation doesn't have a name yet, but... let's just call it "Gray alliance". Gray, so to speak, represents both sides of the coin. A person cannot be completely evil, as in stories, just as no one can be perfect. Therefore, life largely consists of shades of gray. It's the same in this organisation. It's almost entirely secretive, since it doesn't necessarily adhere to the law. Aldea, the founder, prefers to call them all secret spies. As a cover, the members formed a brass band so they could hold important "meetings" without arousing suspicion. Mio has even learned to convey messages through melody while playing the violin. Unfortunately, no one understands him...

Rian Argon-son has always believed he was destined to join the ranks of the Aelaris, working tirelessly to prove himself worthy. Meanwhile his nemesis Ileana, born into wealth and privilege, has always seen herself as a true heir to power. Rosetta Barlynn... It was really a tragedy. Towns folk say she murdered a hog. Ran away. Her parents ran after her. They haven't come back. At least... that's what everyone was misted into thinking happened. But the folks wonder. the mates wonder. The children wonder. What really happened... to Rosetta Barlynn...?

Nora knows how stories work. A line on the page, a shift in dialogue, a carefully placed reaction-every scene obeys when she writes it. Inside her story, Zayn and Lina are just characters moving exactly as they should. Until one moment goes wrong. Zayn laughs when he wasn't supposed to. He notices. And then a new line appears on Nora's screen-one she didn't write. Somewhere between fiction and reality, something has started to push back.

This is my coping mechanism. I love poetry and feel like it's the only anchor for me some days. I thank those who have me strength to share. I write about Trauma and dark moments of my life so if those aren't for you neither is this.
