Maya Carter thought transferring to Blackwood Academy would be a fresh start. Instead, she begins hearing whispers in empty hallways, seeing a shadowy figure in mirrors, and uncovering secrets that the school has buried for decades. As students begin disappearing and fear spreads through the academy, Maya and her friends find themselves trapped in a nightmare connected to an ancient presence known only as The Unseen. Some secrets are meant to stay hidden. Unfortunately, The Unseen is tired of waiting.

What happens when an F1 driver is no longer allowed to drive on the road? Lando wasn't supposed to be stranded, keyless, and babysat by a silent driver with a better poker face than the universe itself. "You're not even gonna say hi?" he asked. She blinked once. Maybe? Now it's raining, he's got nothing but chocolate bars, and apparently, nowhere to go but deeper into the mess he started. How you may ask? Well- step one: get grounded by your own bad decisions. step two: end up chauffeured by someone who looks like she's plotting your funeral. step three: realize you might actually deserve it. Macy Gray. Unconventional. Strange. Oddball. Way-out there. These terms describes her to a T. A theoretical physicist with the penchant for the fantasy world seen only in her dreams. Compelled to locate this world, Macy jumps into a mirror that has defied the laws of physics. Finding the world she has long sought, she is immediately embroiled in a life or death struggle against Alluvia's most powerful magician, Mordok. To make matters worse, when she finally does get back home, she returns to an alternate earth. One where scientists rule. The action gets taken up a notch when she encounters Celia, who is also bent on ruling the world. Couple that with the discovery of her own magic, a kind of anti-magic that is supposed to erase all magic in Alluvia, and all hell breaks loose. Battle lines are drawn. Good versus evil. Magic against anti-Magic. Who will triumph in the end?
