Elodia is nobody. She watches as life passes by, its course set, nothing ever changing. That is until she sees a boy in the marketplace, a boy playing a violin. His music draws her to him, and together they delve into a world completely foreign to the one that Elodia knows, full of magic, mystery, and love. But soon Elodia finds herself locked in a deadly battle armed only with powers she's ill trained to use, and the fate of her world depends on the outcome.

When everything in Maiya's(Maya, Maia thats just how I like spelling it) life was just getting good,or better than what it was,she finds out she's been lied to since she was 11, and her whole life is about to turn upside down.

In an attempt to move on from his past mistakes, a young man finds solace in writing poems to his lost muse. As time goes by, the boy learns of new love and befriends someone that finally helps him heal his heart. However, good feelings do not last forever as he discovers his affection is deft and unrequited, and his friend is no longer there for him. With deception and angst filling the boy's heart, hope seems eternally lost, and as he descends into a spiral of negative thoughts, love is no longer his light but his damnation in a vicious cycle of Heart's Betrayal.
