I used to think I had a special connection with music, an unbreakable connection. I loved playing the piano. The violin. Guitar... and others. But most importantly, I loved singing, and I thought that was never gonna change... but it kinda did. I promised myself I wouldn't let anyone convince me to forget my "silly dreams". And I didn't. But they made sure I lost all the ways I had to follow it. I have no one to defend me, and standing u for myself it's... not enough. Never enough. Now I think I lost my special connection. The only one I had. The love is still there- it's just... I don't really know. It's lost I'm lost. A lost connection.

Book version of one of my favorite (Tamil) movies to ever exist. Directed by my favorite director Radhamohan, Mozhi is a simple and realistic love story about a musician who falls for a mute and deaf girl. The characters and story is NOT my property, it is the intellectual property of the writer. I am simply sharing my love for this movie by translating it into English so more people can love it like I do. I have changed some scenes in this book when compared to the movie because I think it will be easier for people to understand.
