Rebekah Harkness had had just about enough of the people of Rhode Island. It's the 60s. She's rich, widowed and just wants to have fun. She can deal with being called 'middle class,' she can deal with the never-ending noise complaints. She can deal with the town talking about her unconventional reputation. Hell - she can deal with being blamed for her late husband's death. But what Rebekah can't deal with is her neighbour stabbing her in the back. Read alone to discover what ignited the feud between Rebekah's and her neighbour Mrs Pickering that led her to dye Duchess the poodle key lime green. ***This is a work of fan fiction inspired by the music and storyworld featured in Taylor Swift's song the last great american dynasty as well as the American Socialite Rebekah Harkness. While certain events, settings, and characters may bear a resemblance to real-life situations and or individuals associated, all creative liberties have been taken to craft an original narrative. This fan fiction is created out of admiration for Taylor Swift's artistry and is not intended to infringe upon her rights. Thank you***

Short horror story, 1304 words, read when bored haha Dad always told Thomas and I that Aunt was crazy. She constantly called us telling us that someone was after her. That someone wanted to kill her. And one day, that someone did. Suicide, they called it. Crazy old lady has nothing more to live for. Just an insane person she is. But was it?

In this narrative, the protagonist reflects on the death of their mother, which occurs during the Mongolian lunar New Year, Qakhan Saar. The story captures the tension between family traditions and personal struggles, especially the strained relationship between the protagonist's parents. As the family travels to visit relatives in the snowy town of Amgvlang, the mother remains dutiful and caring despite ongoing marital conflicts. However, upon arriving and ascending the stairs to their relatives' apartment, the mother suddenly and unexpectedly dies. This tragic event is depicted as a moment of fleetingness, like a crystal snowflake, and the protagonist grapples with the loss, likening death to a "plumed serpent" that gently takes loved ones away while protecting the bereaved from complete despair.

Folklore is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was a surprise album, released through Republic Records on July 24, 2020, eleven months after its predecessor, Lover (2019). With production from Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff, Folklore eschews the upbeat pop of Swift's previous albums for mellow ballads driven by piano and guitar. It is mostly described as an indie folk, alternative rock, and electro-folkalbum while a few classify it as pop. Swift wrote and recorded the album during the COVID-19 pandemic, conceiving it as "a collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness" out of her imagination. I wanted somewhere to write down my ideas and ramblings, so here its is! I dunno why you'd want to read this, but hey - maybe you'll find something insightful in the midst of all the nonsense and tangents. Or maybe my (mild) insanity is just funny.
