Wu had stepped down from the throne and started his singing career, and Earth Kingdom has become a democracy country. 3 months later, the ladies came back to Republic City. Things has changed when Korra found that her relationship isn't simple as she thinks.

It has been five long years since the fall of Gaia and the camps have finally settled down. The remaining seven have moved on with their lives, but they always wonder what happened to their most beloved mechanic friend. Suddenly a glimmer of hope revives the search, but where that search takes them is farther away than they ever could have expected. Unfortunately their search may be even harder due to a significant change in their friend they hadn't foreseen. In republic city trouble is once again a foot as the earth kingdom struggles to become a republic. Korra and team avatar have a new strange ally in their fight for freedom.
