Senior high school was supposed to be fun. At least that's what everyone said. But for Maria and Maki, it became a year filled with pressure, exhaustion, identity struggles, silent breakdowns, and feelings they never learned how to explain. Maria is the student everyone admires - responsible, hardworking, and always composed. But behind perfect grades is someone slowly losing herself from trying to carry everyone's expectations. Maki is loud, funny, and impossible to ignore. Openly gay in a school where judgment spreads faster than rumors, she hides her pain behind jokes and smiles that nobody questions deeply enough. Different in many ways, the two unexpectedly become each other's safest place. Not every story is about romance. Sometimes, it's about friendship. About surviving. About finding someone who understands the parts of you that nobody notices. Because some feelings are too heavy to say out loud. And sometimes, the people who save us are the ones sitting beside us in silence.
