This story is about a 16 year old, girl trying to make her way in life living on her own. The girl you will meet is Rosalinda Red also known as Rosa in the book. Rosa parents moved away and forgot about her at home and never thought about her when she was a little girl. Poor Rosa had to raise herself in a lonely big house but she didn't mind because she still had her best friend Nike. Nike and Rosa been best friend since the third grade, when they met on the monkey bars. They been on many adventure together and never thought about the past that's how they keep each other going. Rosa friend had an unexpected turn with her life, the worst that happened.
