*Makkorra* What if The Legend of Korra ended just a little bit different?

In an alternate universe of TLOK, bending is nothing more than legend, and life moves in the modern era. Mako Kade has one thing on his mind: Boxing. He lived for the roar and the crowd and the discipline of the ring. But when a encounter with a Marine recruiter opens the door to a future far beyond the school halls and gym mats, Mako makes the decision to give up boxing and join the United Republic Marine Corps to support his brother, and not only that - himself. A story of ambition, friendship, first sparks of romance - where every choice counts, and every word that matters. (Told through Mako's POV.)

This story takes place after book four and about a month after Korra and asami get back from the sport world. Korra and mako are still friends and hangout a lot but one day Korra, Mako, Bolin, Asami all go out to talk about there memories and and start drinking and things get out of hand. What will happen? What have they done? Were they ready? Will they drift apart or will they be brought closer? Find out what happens.

One-Sided Makorra- Mako's Late night visit. Takes place after Mako, Asami, and Bolin move into air temple island, Pre-Equalist war

"It was only for a little while..." "SIX YEARS KORRA, YOU WERE GONE FOR SIX YEARS!" Mako yelled. "I'm sorry." ~~~~ A little while has passed for Korra and Asami in the spirit world, well, six years to be exact. When Korra and Asami return to the real world, they arrive into chaos, Wu's decision to rid of the monarchy has created uprisings in some cities due to disagreements on the voting system. Korra and Asami have been assumed dead, by Mako, by Bolin and by all their loved ones. When Mako finds out that they're alive he is left heartbroken by his first loves who he has found out are together now. But an old flame has been reignited in Korra. Has she fallen in love again? Things aren't this easy for Team Avatar. When word gets to them that Katara is dying and has been poisoned they will stop at nothing to find out who did this. There's a new kind of evil out there. One that will stop at nothing to destroy Korra. And everything she loves.

Korra was not Aang. Korra didn't run from her destiny. Korra embraced who she was with confidence and strength. This also meant that Korra was very headstrong. Follow Korra through these oneshots as she navigates herself and the world around her. Updates every Tuesday.
