What does a broken soul look like?
Does it scream?
Does it cry?
Or does it simply forget how?
Anatomy of a Broken Soul is a collection of poems that dissects the slow unraveling of a child whose innocence was stolen long before she knew what innocence was. It follows every fracture she could never mend; pain, numbness, madness, escape, bloodstained hands, the impossible search for normality, and finally, the loneliness of becoming an outcast.
Each poem is another page torn from a life that was never allowed to remain whole. Together, they trace the quiet transformation of a child who survived everything except the person she used to be.This is not a story about surviving.
It is a story about what survival leaves behind.
Because some scars do not bleed.
They rewrite the soul.
