However thanks to the work of her grandmother, Marinette had spent time with her paternal grandparents and learned how to be a proper noble lady even if she preferred life as a village folk over the posh life she should have had. However, everything changed when her grandfather took her to offer as an apology gift for something he had done to the King. The King in turn offered her to his son Crowned Prince Adrien, who needed her to be the successful wife and why did the King take such an interest in her?

Dear Marc, The various events of this summer have left me utterly breathless. Many of my restricted emotions have resurfaced... And it has been quite a journey to face the world again after my brutal incident in the past. You might be wondering why I would be writing to you, and honestly, I don't even know myself. I suppose this summer has been a roller coaster... A roller coaster of emotions that is. In the past, my heart was shattered, and a weak little string was holding it all together. But after meeting you, I felt something... Something unreal. This unreal feeling was the glue that my broken heart needed. You taught me how to love again. Ha, it's quite funny how one person can change another person's life so drastically. I mean, one moment you have a dark stormy cloud hovering above your head, but then suddenly, a gust of wind blows that cloud away and reveals a bright sunshine. However, things don't remain fun and carefree, right? It has always been that way for me, so I suppose I am used to the disappointment... Thank you for the many great experiences we have shared over the summer, as they will always remain near to my heart. I wish you the best of luck in the future. Goodbye forever. Love, Molly
