Welcome back! I'm thrilled to introduce another one of my stories. This particular one is a fanfiction, deeply inspired by MARINA's iconic 2015 album, "FROOT" (from her "Marina and the Diamonds" era). It even has a sequel, "City of Metal and Sun," which draws its inspiration from her 2021 album, "Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land." This is the story of Cyndi, a woman perpetually troubled by matters of the heart. Her journey unfolds in the year 2015. Just as the "FROOT" album explored cyclical themes, this narrative is also structured in a similar, cyclical fashion.

Lana is absolutely in love with Lawrence as she always had been. How could she not? He treated her like a queen even if she wasn't acting like one. But with her touring and his photography career on the line could they continue to be happy? They were determined to make it work until Lana meets a new best friend on a plane. What will happen? Lana only wants to be happy and forget her past, but can it all work for her?

A project made by a very dear friend of mine on Instagram and I. I ended up on a quest to illustrate the whole thing, and I've been working on it since about March/April of 2016 Featuring: Marina Diamandis as herself Lana Del Rey as herself Lady Gaga as the Doll And Toby (my own creation) Everything in this story has been inspired by the Silent Hill franchise owned by Konami with things created by me. Originally aimed only at an eight-image long mini series it eventually evolved into a fully fleshed out illustration project with a fanfic to go with it. Please enjoy!
