I feel there are definitely some lessons we could learn from this culture, not least how to break free from the mould others create for us. This is a story I've been wanting to write down for a very long time, but have only just found a reason to. This story takes place during the early years of our world, much before the age we live in. The lead character, Ashantae (Uh-shan-tay) is a young teen of 16, living in a world gifted with The Mother. Soon after her 16th birthday, The Mother loses her female companion and adopts Ashantae, sharing with her her longevity, her strengths, her senses, and the history of how all came to be.

Rose is a single mother, and 1st generation immigrant, who has one 5 year-old daughter who lives with her relatives overseas. Rose is actually a gorgon, a famous one (Medusa). She is so deep into being human and doesn't realize all the signs that she isn't actually human. So what happens to a gorgon who has lost her identity? Probably nothing or probably everything that can be thought of. For sure, Rose will recover her identity. Find out what happens to all she has built to hide it.

My essay on the modern day oppression of women

Join me trying to world build yet another world! This time we have planetary aliens with a heavy matriarch history instead of humans in a earth-like fantasy world! There'll be notes, vocab, character designs, shorts and what not. I hope y'all can join along and see my process. So far I've spent a month---on and off--- by the time I publish this.
