[ Rizzoli and Isles Fanfiction ] Maura and Jane had been best friends for nearly 10 years. After they both had decided to start a new job, Maura in Paris as a writer and Jane at the FBI, they had moved away and only talked on the phone. But soon they realised that they didn't want this. They wanted their old life back. And they decided to come back. It had now been 6 months since they came back and Maura had finally met a guy who she started dating about a month after returning to Boston. It seemed like everything was perfect in their lives, but things would take a turn very, very soon. Maura Isles finds herself dealing with two cases, one on homicide, and one on her own feelings. When a young male is killed, Maura must work with Jane and the rest of BPD to help find the murderer, and bring justice to Boston. In the middle of it all, Maura starts to think of Jane as more than just her best friend. But how can she let Jane know without putting their friendship and job on the line? How will Jane react? Will she find out? Maura can't lie, but this time the truth can change everything. - I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE WONDERFUL CHARACTERS, ALL BASED OFF OF TNT'S RIZZOLI & ISLES. Jane's POV. It's Valentine's night and Jane can't stop thinking about Maura.

AU. NCIS/Rizzoli and isles crossover. We can't control who we fall in love with. We can't control the destiny of that person. We can't control falling in love again after a tragedy. It's all uncontrolled. Though we can control how we deal with the uncontrolled. Mentions of a character death.

Jane's POV. Experimental from weeks ago when I was waiting for the tube.

Janes a single mother to three kids. Ten year old Alison, 6 year old Max and 2 year old Daniel. It was her 16th birthday when she met Casey Jones, a 20 year old in the army. She dated him for awhile, which resulted in Alison. They kept dating when he was home or back from deployment which resulted in Max, then he left for active duty and another deployment. When he came back, Jane got pregnant a third time, resulting in Daniel. It wasn't until after she found out about her third baby that she found out he had been cheating on her the entire time. So she left him, even though she was four months pregnant. Maura Isles is a single woman. She's the Chief Medical Examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. When Jane is brought in as the new homicide detective, she immediately falls for the gorgeous honey blonde. But what happens when she finds out the woman is packing a little extra punch under her designer skirts? ------------------------ Personalities will be a little different in this. And several things will be changed, seeing as Jane has three kids, she obviously won't be living in the apartment.

my first short (and amature) rizzles one shot. It takes place after Jane and Maura come back from Paris and Jane has started her new job with the FBI. She runs into Agent Davies while leaving FBI headquarters. It's cute, it's fluffy. Have no fear.

The third story in the 'Life As I Knew It' series. It takes place two years after Jane and Maura divorced. Maura is still having a hard time coping with the destruction of her family and the fact that it's her fault. Jane has a hard time keeping her hands to herself. New problems put bumps in Emily and Antonio's already rocky relationship.
