It's a short story

This is what happens when I have original ideas; they go here. Most of them are really weird (the goldfish poem), and so far, I haven't thought of any that aren't weird so........ Wanna be happy? This one's for you. Happiness by definition is "The state of being happy". When something good happens, you get happy. That genuine feeling of well-being may come from a wide range of sources, like accomplishing lifelong goals, or spending time with a specific person or even helping an old lady cross the road.

TW: suicide It was raining heavily and everyone had brought an umbrella except the little girl in the yellow raincoat who danced under the cloud-filled skies, splashing from puddle to puddle. The two adults knew she was only young, and if they asked her to stop she might release her tears, so they just stood and watched.

They started as silhouettes in the dark-sharing nothing but the glow of the streetlights and a mutual need for silence. They aren't star-crossed lovers; they are just two people exhausted by the noise of the world, finding a rare kind of peace in each other's presence. What starts as a simple nod across the railing evolves into a steady, unspoken partnership. No pressure to be anyone else, no romantic expectations-just the quiet comfort of a neighbor who understands the weight of the city. The Balcony Bond is a tribute to the people who walk alongside us in the dark, proving that sometimes, a platonic connection is the strongest foundation we have.
