Crossmatch. A procedure performed to determine compatibility before one life can save another. Slides. Thin pieces of glass where unseen stories slowly come into focus. Heartbeats. Every heartbeat tells a story. Some race with 𝒻ℯ𝒶𝓇. Some slow with 𝑔𝓇𝒾ℯ𝒻. Some stop without 𝓌𝒶𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔. But no one ever speaks of the heartbeat that begins because of another person. They entered the same university believing medicine was all about science-facts, diagnoses, and certainty. They were taught that every laboratory result has an explanation. Every disease has a cause. Every life has value. But somewhere between microscope slides, sleepless nights, and impossible dreams...they discovered that not everything can be explained by science. Because not every crossmatch is meant for blood. Some stories are written between slides and heartbeats.
