There's something special about a woman who dominates in a man's world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness and the nerve to never take no for an answer. Cynthea was her father's jewel, she was carefully nurtured as the heiress of her father's business. But an accident caused the death of her father and she was sold to the slave traders by her uncle. She came to the Ottoman Harem as a slave became the powerful Haseki Ayten Sultana, Sultan Mehmet's beloved wife. These two women, whose lives were like two parallel lines never meant to cross each other will become two important pillar of Sultan Mehemt the Great's reign. History will remember them as the Sultanas of Sun and Moon in the Golden Age of Ottoman Dynasty. This story is about the lives of these two powerful women, about their joy and sorrow, their tears and laughter, their struggles and achievements, about how they lived, loved and ruled.

The story follows the journey of Duchess Eleni Notarus as she is captured and brought to the castle of Sultan Mehmed the second and how she survives there and becomes one of his most loyal supporters and accomplice in achieving his dream of capturing Constantinople. Is she really just a slave turned accomplice though or is a new duchess going to enter the Sultan's harem? This is going to be a short story with only a few chapters. I obviously don't own any of the main characters except new characters introduced by me. I am inspired by the series Mehmed the Conquerer and writing this imagined story because of my disappointment at its very short run. I am aware that my story might be historically inaccurate sometimes but I would try to not contradict real historical facts and incorporate them into the story as much as possible.
