In the state of Maine and a small town along the border of Canada, something evil lurks in the dark woods of the Northern Pack lead by Alpha James and his son Emerson James. Emerson takes care of a strange little cat shifter Kriss whom he had kidnapped from the clutches of the abusive cat clan just south of them. Emerson trails through the odd behavior of the pale, dark haired girl that he has grown to adore as he goes on a journey of what it truely means to be brave and selfless through the means of the weird cat child with glowing silver eyes meanwhile he tries to hunt down the monster in the woods.

Super short story, but its been my favorite thing I've written since 8th grade when i wrote it. Its all about a girl who is extremely mentally ill and how little things can set a person off. I'd say that it also shows how apples dont fall far from the trees they grow on either.

This started out as a friends way of me venting my anger and other negative emotions. I just started writing one night and after not too long had a short story mixing my emotional state, my job, and how I process things all from the view of a messed up, emotionally damaged, confused and scared 20 year old kid. I'm not as unstable as I use to be in case there are any bleeding hearts that stubble across this.
