This is a Grey's Anatomy fan fiction based off the death of Derek Shepherd. Following the episode (11x21) "How to Save a Life", everyone's lives are changed...forever. In my fanfic, this is what I think Grey's Anatomy would be had Derek lived. *Note: I apologize in advance if any of the surgical parts of my story are in accurate, I'm not a doctor yet*

I've always for some reason loved the scene in 3x04 that there's three different things going on so, what if Meredith found out that she really was pregnant what would have happened then? Would Meredith have stayed with Derek or raised his child with Finn? Hope you enjoy, I had to search up a lot for this, and I rewatched the whole third season because I completely forgot.

When Meredith is taken hostage at Seattle Grace hospital by a murder. And Rose and Addison are out to kill. The hospital must function through the worst thing yet.

They are stuck, stuck in the middle of nowhere after their plane crashed. Now its a fight for survival.

After Meredith is caught in the blast, Derek is there to help her.

Takes place around 11x17 when Derek came back Meredith and Derek are on the mend, but when one big fight leads to a serious car accident, will their marriage survive?

So this is based on the what if episode in 8x13 and its basically about how their lives would turn out if that episode would continue. It's of course focused on merder but also about all the other characters (MAGIC, Addi, Mark, Richard and Ellis, Lexi, Bailey...) Mer and Derek will not get together right away and maybe even be a lot of complications etc at first. Just be patient cause eventually they will get their happy ending. Just read to find out. This is also my first story so please let me know if you like it and write in the comments if you have some ideas. I'm also from Germany so I'm sorry if I make some spelling mistakes.
