Serena and Brinley are two of the five at risk teenage campers who travelled to the Badlands, South Dakota for a quick getaway with a counseling group three days before Christmas 2009. The worst snowstorm the Midwest has seen in years forces the group into a cave with limited supply of food and water. Three days go by and they are still trapped. As the park closes early on Christmas Eve, counselor Chelsea Sanders goes out seeking help and never returns. Christmas morning, Serena convinces fellow campmate Brinley to go searching for their counselor. Trekking through yards of ice, sleet, and snow, Serena realizes this Christmas might not bring its Christmas miracle that her heart longed for. The holidays are finally here! And you know what that means right? Yup, different Christmas one shots everyday leading up to Christmas! I wanted to make this book because, being the bad writer I am, most of my books/fan fictions are on a hiatus because of a *cough* writer's block *cough* Anyways, because of this dreadful writer's block, I decided to make a book about Christmas just for a cover up from my unfortunate failures at writing. Two days before Christmas, Dr. Anne Dawson, gets a broken bone patient in her wing. Everyone in the hospital got snowed in, so they weren't able to go home. Tom felt terrible taking Anne's Christmas away, but she insisted that it was okay and he had nothing to worry about. They end up spending time together during the shut down.

The smell of greased food along with the loud sounds of people were a bit overwhelming to Dazai and yet... And yet so fun. He wanted to grab Chuuya's hand and run aimlessly into the crowd, even if they weren't going to do anything. He just wanted to be in the center of the noise, to experience what everyone else was. His eardrums rang with a loud boom; multicolored silhouettes spread across them. Chuuya's eyes lit up as he tugged on his sleeve with a smile, pointing at the fireworks. Dazai looked up, a blue light shining in his eyes, joined by red and purple. Colors he didn't know could be beautiful followed. Merry Christmas, loves! Hope you enjoy this story <3 -Shiro
