AU story told from Siobhan's POV Sort of an alternate storyline that continues where my What If We Met Sooner story left off.

Kai was the quiet, unreadable one among his friends. A young man admired for his beauty but rarely understood for his heart. Behind his silver hair, cold expressions, and distant attitude was someone deeply protective, gentle, and afraid of revealing too much of himself. Mia entered his life during a storm, literally and emotionally. Forced to spend a night at the same house, she discovered that the coldest person in the room was the one who came to comfort her when she was afraid. After the tragedy at university, Kai became one of the people who silently protected her. While several friends criss-crossed, Mai's path to check on her, Kai cared through small, lasting actions. Mia slowly realised with some very close friends that Kai's silence was not indifference; it was self-control. Kai, who spent his life hiding behind a carefully built image, found himself seen for the first time as a person who needed love, too. Mia challenged Kai's belief that love was something dangerous. She taught him that being vulnerable did not make him weak, while he taught her that she deserved to be cared for even when she felt broken. Their love was not loud or dramatic; He discovered that she made him want to stop running from his own emotions.

so, this is somewhat similar to The Thirteenth Cat by Mary Downing Hahn and if you haven't read it, I suggest you do because it'll help the story make sense but in the introduction, I'll explain the book for those who haven't read it yet and it's not really spoiling the book since it's on the back of it and you know the plot in a few chapters but some things in the book may be changed. The next paragraph will be what it's about. Marjorie lives in a crappy apartment next to an old woman since she just moved in the apartment who turn out to be a witch with magic who have an insane number of cats. Once she realizes who her neighbor really is, she is stuck as a cat and runs away from her neighbor meeting her cold-hearted deputy who takes her in not realizing the cat was her boss.
