In her voice, the stones hummed with a strength not heard in an age. Her feet found paths no map had marked. The ancient race known as 'the Shadows' had the task of keeping the three bloodlines : Elf, Human & Dwarf as pure as possible. Sairene is a 'half-breed' and their next target. When her father dies as the result of an unexpected Orc attack, she becomes the next Queen. She requests the reluctant help of Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm as her kingdom is facing a famine, the worst yet. During his visit, the young Queen discovers a truth that some would rather be kept hidden, a truth that is so horrific and unexpected that some would do anything to keep it and her quiet.

This is going to be a Lord of the Rings Fanfic story. The second book in "The Age of the Ring" book series. The Fellowship continues their journey to destroy the Ring, but many twists and turns have happend throughout the way. The whole Fellowship must fight in new ways to try and fight off the evil that is lurking in Mordor. Many have been captured, but others are still lurking around trying to find help. Will Frodo ever find a way to destroy the Ring with the Mouth and the returning Sauron that is now back? And how will the Fellowship help him in the dangerous quest? All credit for names, places, and some quotes goes completely to J.R.R Tolkien and to his amazing books, "The Lord of the Rings." Thank you for being such an amazing guy, Tolkien!

Before she was Ecthelien she was someone else, but that didn't matter. Her new parents loved her and all her strange ways. Everything was peaceful, everything was content.
