Zack is overworked with a mentally ill parent. Jenny is running from an alcoholic step-dad. Sticking to themselves this nigh is not an option. They must embrace the love.

When two gifted teenagers kept in a government facility their whole lives set out to escape their imprisonment, all hell breaks loose as their captors rush to return them back to their secured quarters. Is their love for each other enough to help them escape? Written for MidnightSunMovie's 500 word short story contest.

"The two of them didn't hate each other-no. But, they weren't necessarily on agreeable terms. They so simply drifted apart, or better yet avoided each other as to save themselves the troubles of confrontation. However, fate had something else for them."

I was nervous, to say the least. I debated on just bailing and sulking in my room, or going and enjoying myself for the first time in months. - "His eyes captivated my soul as he slowly made his way towards me. I couldn't hear the cheers of the other women in the crowd, I could only hear the pounding in my chest. His stubble grazed my left cheek as he lowered his head near the base of my neck. I subtly shivered as his breath fanned my earlobe." Never in a million years did I think I'd come to a male entertainment show to only have my soulmate tease me.
