Len and Miku make a promise that when Len comes back from studying abroad in America, the two will start dating. After a few years, Len returns, but not like himself.

You've all heard of the phrase, "You don't know what you've got until it's gone.." correct? For Len Kagamine, that phrase was wrong. For him, it was, "You know exactly what you have, you just never thought you'd lose it." Len looked different from what he'd looked like nine years ago. Nine years ago, he was a chubby little kid who couldn't make it on his own, yet would still be as naive as to try and make others happy. Now, he was a bit more strong, more buff. In a way, to most women, more... handsome? The important part was that his heart didn't change. He was still kind to others, no matter the consequences of what he'd dwelled in the past, despite his new appearance. He was ready to start a new leaf. The only question was... Was everyone else ready for it too?

Ella tenía tantas expectativas que la hicieron ver como la chica más feliz de todas, pero algo se estaba apagando y lo estaba notando, por el bien de ambos, ella no debía tener esos sentimientos, tenía que dejarlo atrás. Por otro lado, esta Len Kagamine un chico tierno y trata de mostrarse fuerte e independiente, sabe perfectamente que ella aún guarda esos sentimientos por su antiguo amor, lentamente conquistara a la chica de coletas. Pero ¿Qué pasaría si ambos tienen el mismo objetivo? Ambos quieren la misma chica. ¿Ella debería elegirá a uno? ¿Tu quien crees que es el indicado? Lee esto y sabrás más de ellos... Hatsune Miku, the girl who lost her beautiful voice after an accident, is living in a school. This school wasn't like any other school, it makes every child happy until he or she reaches the twentieth stage of their lives. She was lonely and sad. Her favorite hobby after losing her voice is playing the piano. She lived in this school since she was 7 years old, which means after losing her voice. She likes to be alone, that's why she's learning in her room in this school. Kagamine Len, the most popular boy in their school, hates all the girls and doesn't like to talk to them. He was separated from his older sister, Kagamine Rin. His parents died when he was a little child. Miku Hatsune's father is an unemployed man who enjoys target practice. Her childhood friend, Kaito Shion, is always mooching on her parent's equipment, and her life isn't any better with two baseball-loving blond brats always showing up uninvited for dinner. Her home is an old, dank place, and her life is slowly crumbling. Could it get any worse? Maybe, just maybe. When the dead begin pressing their palms against her doors and her father is brutally torn apart by neighbour, the bodies begin piling up and Miku realizes that it's time to take the gun in her hands. Target shooting begins now, and the targets are the dead.

Miku is always ignored. At home her brother and father don't acknowledge her unless they want something. At school she has learned over the years to try to stay out of the way and blend in with the backround. The only ones who ever paid attention to her are both gone. Filled with her depressing childhood memories...she feels that she will never be happy again. Until one day... I do not own Vocaloid or the Vocaloid characters all I own is this story :)
