Every July, Walker visits Daytona beach, Florida. This has been a consistent tradition since he met Kiara Lim at that very beach 5 years ago on a family vacation. He fell so unbelievably hard for her that he now comes to visit her, tan in the Florida sun, and distance himself from the entertainment industry every year without fail. However, this summer feels... different. Kiara has been really distant, and it almost feels like she has changed completely. Permanently.

Blair is a 25 year old who believes she doesn't need to have kids, get a husband, or get a boyfriend. She thinks she is absolutely fine on her own. Her best friend, Kylah, on the other hand thinks the opposite. When Kylah gets married and Blair is her maid of honor everything changes in Blair's life. At the wedding Blair meets a little two year old named Aurora. Blair adores Aurora, but can't figure out who her parents are. Brayden is perfectly fine as a 25 year old single father. Ever since his ex fiance left him days after his daughter's birth he has had trust issues with women. When he goes to his best friend's wedding and meets Blair, he can't help but want to trust her. Will he tell her he has a child and commit to her or will he keep it a secret and push her away?

Charlotte "Charlie" Neal is a Five who, unlike the Prince, has worked every day of her life. At first she signs the paperwork to join his Selection to appease her mother, but her reasons change as she becomes one of the Selected. She'll navigate the troubled times, mean girls, a cheerful older sister, new friends, awesome food, a strict ettiquette teacher, the threat of war, double-crossers, flirtacious Kings, cute guards, her sassy best friend, and the Prince in her time in the Selection.
