It wasn't that much of a challenge, since the girl's team isn't taken seriously, but they still get far in the competitions. However, in her third year in the school, a 2nd year student, Maia, transfers from America, hungry for her spot. This shouldn't affect her, right? It's just volleyball. However, when she looses her spot, her pride gets destroyed, and she feels miserable. Her past starts to come back to haunt her and the truth of her volleyball experience before high school unravels. Fortunately, after an awkward encounter with the Oikawa Tooru, the captain of the boy's volleyball team, she might be able to get her spot back.
