Freya is in an abusive relationship with Julian. Malachi is the one who starts to notice and becomes her source of comfort. Freya has a brother named Milo. Milo's have a girlfriend named Meg Donnelly. Malachi also has a sister named Meg Donnelly (and it's the same Meg - so Meg is both Milo's girlfriend and Malachi's sister, which creates some extra drama).

Freya and Malachi have spent the past year keeping in touch through texts and late-night calls. Everything that made the distance feel a little smaller. It's familiar. Comfortable. Safe. But nothing can prepare them for seeing each other in person again. A week before the Zombies 4 premiere, suddenly the easy banter feels heavier, the jokes land differently, and every glance seems to carry a little more weight than either of them expected. Ook schrijf ik het omdat ik er al langer over nadenk dit te doen en ook veel verhalen hierover heb gelezen.
