This is my entry for the #MindOverMatterConest! Hope you enjoy! No one else could hear it, but there it was, the Black Noise that filled my head.

"Can you recall an instance where you felt the negative voices were bringing you down, but you were able to rise above them?" Aaleah: Many times. Many many times. It's probably a very bad habit. "What happened?" Aaleah: insecurities happened.

#MindOverMatterContest This is a short story about my on going mission of learning to love myself.

#MindOverMatterContest I never thought that the mind could be such a dangerous place, until I got lost in it. "The mind a dangerous place to get lost in" -Jasuling- "Do it. You're a waste of space anyways" said the whispers in my head that only got louder by the minute. " Do it. Do it. Do it. End it now" With my tear stained face and my hands clenched in my hair I screamed. " LEAVE ME ALONE. GO AWAY. GO AWAY. GO....AWAY" Inspired by my idol and my father.
