Mio Stories

The so- called "crooked street", actually called Oak Street, is the heart of the slum. It teems with beggars, the homeless and above all, children. Many children never reach the adulthood, dying of starvation, exposure, or murder. Only a few manage to survive through illegal activities, theft, cruelty, independent thinking and resourcefulness. One of these children is Mio. He has lived on the streets since his father's death seven years ago and is an important member of the... well, the organisation doesn't have a name yet, but... let's just call it "Gray alliance". Gray, so to speak, represents both sides of the coin. A person cannot be completely evil, as in stories, just as no one can be perfect. Therefore, life largely consists of shades of gray. It's the same in this organisation. It's almost entirely secretive, since it doesn't necessarily adhere to the law. Aldea, the founder, prefers to call them all secret spies. As a cover, the members formed a brass band so they could hold important "meetings" without arousing suspicion. Mio has even learned to convey messages through melody while playing the violin. Unfortunately, no one understands him...
