2020, what a year. A year full of panic, worry, and isolation. I wasn't able to travel over the summer, which is something my family does every year. This is just a short story of how 2020 would have been better if there was no pandemic and no restrictions. This is my submission for the Missed Milestones Writing Contest.

My entry for the #MissedMilestones contest ~~~~~~ Embla has never set foot on Earth. Instead, she has spent her life watching it revolve below her from the window of a shuttle in space. When she finally gets the chance to experience it through a simulation, Embla jumps at the chance. The only problem is that once she gets a taste of what she missed out on, life on the Atlas SAT is no longer enough to satisfy her.

My take on what 2020 meant to me. This is also my first time entering any type of short story writing contest so it's a big deal for me!
