In our world today we throw around the word "love" quite aimlessly. We believe it to be an emotion, something that we feel on a whim for no rhyme or reason. I don't believe that's true. I believe love is a conscious choice of action. Because we love someone we put action behind our words. I don't believe anyone truly has a full understanding of love. I believe life will continuously push us to our limits in regard of how much love we give and learning new ways to express that love as we grow as individuals. I also believe that with the conscious choice of love, comes some not so voluntary emotions or sensations. In this book I am going to explore what those experiences meant to me and can hopefully provide some insight to others who might be feeling the same way but are having trouble identifying those feelings.

We have different concepts of what love is. Maybe it's the feeling of being cherished or cared for like a priceless gemstone. Or maybe the bond friendship makes that is warm and never-ending. Or the family that is like a wood that is glued together with love. Love is the one filling us with completeness for our whole existence. We can find it with different people in different places. But for me, I found it within myself.

In a world of wickedness, Stella believes there is nothing like love. Born into a loveless but wealthy family She thinks that all that is need to survive is money, intelligence. she lives by the word" INDEPENDENT" But little did she know that she would she see another world once she steps out of her little comfort zone.

Not growing up with the representation of healthy love has many impacts, with the growing rates of single parent households this is showing as we grow older our views on what we believe love is are sometimes underdeveloped or wrong. This is the journey of learning how to leave that pattern of toxic love for something true.

Sometimes family holds a bar for perfection and reward isn't real love. But real love does exist.

I hope my entry is good enough for this contest, I really didn't know what to write but when I got this message about "Modern Love" I just had to write my thoughts and experiences, which I hope is good enough.

I tell the story of my mother. her favorite memory of my father, as well as her last words.

this is my intake of what the term 'love' really means in my eyes. some may think love is a source for disaster and heartbreak but some may believe love is what opens doors and what makes you change in a good way, well forget about there opinions and listen to mine.

Hate, Anger, Loss, Sadness, Hopelessness, even death pales when faced with Love, Hope, and the chance at Happiness.
