But when a chance encounter at the glass with Juraj Slafkovsky leads to a traded protein bar and a lopsided grin, her "realistic" world starts to feel a lot more like a daydream. For years, she always felt like she wasn't important with her parents' world revolving around her three brothers' fantastic hockey careers. When Allison's twin brother, Jack, is on the junior USA hockey team, Allison meets Cole Caufield and Trevor Zegras. She becomes best friends with both of them along with becoming friends with Trevor's best friend, Jess Lewis. Allison considers Trevor to be like a brother, but with Cole it's different. He makes her feel like she matters and he cares a lot for her. Allison can't help but fall in love with how sweet Cole Caulfield is to her.
