A young 20-year old girl destined for more than the city life she was brought up in. After the sad and distressing death of both her Mother and Father Constance, her younger sister Maria and their determined governess Miss Heliotrope embark on new adventures in the West Country of England within the district of Moonacre Valley. A city girl in the countryside. What could possibly go wrong? It turns out a lot could. A story filled with fairy tales that turn to reality, bandits and plunderers threatening the borders of her new home and an unexpected acquaintance which could potentially blossom if they could only let go of their pride. The plot of the story is that the main character, Moonbeam, has a brother who is kidnapped my an unknown pair of dragons, and this story is about Moon and her friend and family are helping her find the lost brother.
