Cassidy Hargrove is Billy's twin sister, max's stepsister, and she loves her family (mostly). This is a story where she learns to love herself too, in a town full of magic and mystery and danger, Cassidy finds a place she can call home, and she realises family is much more than blood, it's trust, it's care, and it's acceptance. Set in the stranger things universe, it begins at the start of season 2, on Billy, Max and Cassidy's first day. I'll try and keep it as canon accurate to the lore and time period as possible but if there's any discrepancies please let me know!! (Yes there will obviously be changes to the actual stranger things story due to Cassidy, however nothing EXTREME (mostly))

Sneak Peek: Her voice blurs into static as I turn my head slightly to the left, trying to seem like I'm still paying attention to mother while I glance out the window to the green fields and the sea beyond. My mind conjures up a herd of wild horses prancing about the field. On the edge of my vision I imagine subtle movement and the graceful profile of a swan comes into view as it swims in the small pond next to the gardens. The stormy skies are replaced by bright blue ones as the light mist over the fields lifts and children can be seen playing in the clean blue waters of the distant ocean. The gardens around the swan burst to life in an explosion of color and noise, as high society ladies swoon over the men playing cricket at the near edge of the field. Tea cups clink and water trickles down softly swishing into the pond and flowing around the graceful swan. The laughter and giggles of childrens pearly voices come floating up from the sea wraping around the wind that blows through the garden gently ruffling the ladies' skirts with their joy. The breeze continues through the now open window and slaps my face, my head jerking to the side with the blow.
