High school best friends reunite after being separated at graduation. Adalida Shane was named after a George Strait song. She loves country, the music and the way of life. She was listening to the radio when she stumbles upon one of her old best friend's song. She falls in love with it immediately. Remington Duke has had an amazing start to his career. He's written and sung some awesome songs. He has one problem though. He misses home.

A lams story. Basically John has PTSD in this and alex is the supportive boyfriend he needs. No smut as I am like asexual and uncomfortable with that shit. A hella ton of angst.
