She's not happy, but her parents think he's the best to handle her fiery personality. Ellie just doesn't see how somebody with a smug look like that can be good for her. When her assumptions are proven correct when she sees him and his even more smug looking brother, Morris, pick a fight with the local newsies, she makes it her mission to get her parents to see the real Oscar Delancey. With the help of the newsies, she can possibly make that happen, if she can convince them to help her. Along with hidden romances to go along with everything else, Ellie starts to question her view on her father, and her father's good friend, Mr. Joseph Pulitzer.

Living in New York in the 1800's was difficult, especially if you were (Y/n) (L/n) and lived in the Refuge. Like Jack Kelly, (Y/n) (L/n) eventually escaped from the Refuge (NOT on the back of Roosevelt's carriage). She tries to live her life as normal as she could, but what happens when she is running from Snyder and the newsies don't know her true gender?

You may have heard of the New York cowboy Jack Kelly and the King of Brooklyn Spot Colon, but I guarantee you never heard of Midnight. The Newsie fighter and 1 of the only girl newsie in all of New York. No one knew that she was a girl except her big brothers. Mush Meyers and Fighter Meyers. She planned to keep it that way for as long as possible. In fact, everyone knew very little of her (besides her brothers). All they knew was she was related to Mush and Fighter and as soon as she was done selling papes she would disappear and by the next time you saw her, she would be sporting a new shinnar. She once was a kind and outgoing newsie who made the world just a bit brighter for those around her. Back then, she was known as Wolf. Until she disappeared for 2 months and came back as a different person. Someone who you didn't want to meet when you're one of her assignments. She wasn't just a Newsie but a fighter who had enough skills to be paid for it as well. A hell of a good one at that. Think of it as a soak for hire. Though she has rules on who she soaks. And nothing can make her break those rules. But when the Newsies go on strike Midnight, a mysterious Newsie gets sucked in even though she so desperately didn't want to. Along the way, she met Spot Colon, the King of Brooklyn. To say the least, she didn't like him at first. Due to the reason he reminded her of someone she had to turn her back to when she needed him the most. Even more so when old unwanted feelings start to emerge. But the King of Brooklyn found her interesting and wanted to know more about the elusive Newsie. In hopes that this newsie could help him reunite with a girl that he lost all too long ago. Will Midnight lower her walls for Spot and help him find the girl he so dearly missed, or will she soak him. Read to find out. Each chapter is 1000 to 5000 words Spot Colon x OC I don't own the Newsies, just Midnight and Fighter

This is just going to be a oneshot book full of newsies ships. I'll do any ship but mainly Sprace, Javey, Spromeo, Blush and RedFinch since those are my favourite. I will not any xreader oneshots.
