Great Elroe Labyrinth, a place said to be where monsters born and hunt. A dark forest filled with unending competition for very survival. For monsters, it is home and battlefield. For humans, it was path to the other side of the world or grave. And it remained like that unchanged. But deep in caves and tunnels of the largest dungeon, rose a soul that cannot move, cannot speak or hear in a way humans understood. The being that weaponises change itself and simply, slowly grows. For change comes slowly and quietly. And the world never notices until it is everywhere. Alright this fandom is kinda dyings, especially fanfic wise and this is my attempt at keeping it alive. All the art I used in the cover and potentially in future chapters belong to their respective creators. I do not own any of them (though there may be ones I drew) including the original story.

For one thousand years, the cavern-city of Mycora's Embrace had breathed in the dark. It was no ordinary hollow beneath the planet, but a vast, cathedral-like grove carved by time and tenderness - an underground damp cavern where mineral-veined ceilings arched like frozen waves, and clear droplets gathered before falling in soft, patient rhythms into moss-lined pools. The air shimmered with spores like drifting lantern dust, and the walls pulsed with living light. Every surface bloomed. Towering violet caps unfurled like silk parasols. Amber shelf-fungi layered the stone in warm, honeyed tiers. Spirals of teal and cerulean glow-moss crept along columns, while crimson mycelial webs stitched the ground together in luminous veins. Pale ghost-mushrooms glimmered like stars scattered among roots that hung like chandeliers from the ceiling. The grove illuminated itself - not in harsh brightness, but in a breathing radiance, hues shifting gently with the pulse of the colony. This was home. This was Mycora's Embrace, founded a millennium ago by twenty-five elders who first dared to shape wild cavern into sanctuary. And now, those same twenty-five still stood - aged, vast, magnificent - to witness its thousandth bloom.

Mystic Vale School of Learning, a high school for fairies in the land of Inframia, yearly organizes a school trip meant for students to acquire new knowledge about Inframia's history and culture. Every time, the location is different and this one is not the exception. Most of Mystic Vale's students find themselves excited when the announcement comes out with the news the they're being taken to Colored forest. No previous generation of high schoolers has had the privilege of going to such an important place for fairies, so these consider themselves lucky. Unfortunately, these are no good news for Sophia Shiloh once an incident that's happened in school makes her change her mind about going to the trip. She is forced by her parents to go, though, Demian Shiloh and Astoria Kalil, two of the richest habitants of Inframia. With her dad being a human descendant and her mom completely fairy, Sophia's features let almost everyone who sees her know she's half-human; round ears, light brown skin and no powers at all. Little does she know that, to finally win her place in Inframia and stand out on her own like she's always wished to, she'll have to unravel the mystery that surrounds Colored Forest and be able to complete a mysterious prophecy that not only includes her, but perhaps a whole generation of humans before her.

The story of three creatures and their relationship in this horrible world. - Meet Mari [said as Maur-ree, like how you would say Maurice but without the "ce"]. Their pronouns are They/Its. Although its head is an eye they cannot see. They can hear but it is muffled so repeated words are useful. Its heart is cut out of their body which beings like them will think is weird. Without the heart, it is aromantic and their partners are respectful of that. Meet Death. Her pronouns are She/He. What you think of his appearance is correct. She looks like the Devil [but are truly just a distant cousin once removed]. Death has dark skin with patches of lighter skin, which is called vitiligo. She chooses not to wear clothes, with the answer that they are uncomfortable and scratchy and useless [She does wear a black cloak but only for his job of, well, death]. Death is deaf and cannot hear, using sign language. Meet He [or can also be spelled as HHe]. Its pronouns are They/It/He. Their head and neck is one of the Fly Agaric or Amanita Muscaria mushroom, which you would know as the red mushroom with the white dots. He cannot speak or hear but what they do is feel the vibrations of the beings around him. That is how he "hears" and understands what one is saying. One of He's arms was gone since birth and currently has a robotic arm. -----
