I gasped loudly and took a step back only to hit my back on the door of the shelf. He looked directly at my eyes, it felt like he was seeing right through my soul. His eyes were so intense that I was unable to handle it, so I looked away but he made me look at him by raising my chin with his thumb and index finger. "You have no idea how much i am controlling myself from making you mine",I looked at him wide eyed and tried to push him away but he pinned my hands on either side of my head with his, he leaned in on me, so, I turned my face away and then his lips landed on my cheeks. My eyes widened at his this act, I wriggled and got my hands free from him before pushing him away with full force. __________________________________ 𝕀𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕙𝕒𝕣𝕕𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕞𝕪 𝕤𝕙𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕕 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕥, 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕞𝕖𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕪 𝕣𝕖𝕞𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕤, 𝕒 𝕓𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝕣𝕖𝕗𝕣𝕒𝕚𝕟. "Leave me alone, Azlan," Shahana choked out, her voice tight with anger and despair. "I'm not going anywhere with you." Ignoring her pleas, Azlan reached for her wrist, his grip firm but not brutal. Shahana flinched, the memory of countless similar moments flashing before her eyes. She tried to pull away, but his hold was unwavering. Desperate, she cast a pleading glance at her father, who stood frozen, his face a mask of conflicting emotions. His wife reached out to comfort him but was stopped by a subtle shake of his head. "Azlan, listen to me," Shahana said, her voice shaking. " I don't want to be in this relationship anymore. I want a divorce." The words hung heavy in the air, met with a tense silence. Azlan's jaw clenched, his eyes hardening. He wouldn't let her go, not without a fight. Yet, amidst the fire of his determination, a flicker of pain flickered across his face. Shahana, emboldened by the spark of vulnerability, shifted her gaze towards her in-laws. "Baba," she pleaded, her voice trembling slightly. "Please ask Azlan to stop. I don't want to leave with him." Azlan's father, a man known for his calm demeanor, took a hesitant step forward. "Azlan," he began, his voice measured. "Perhaps we should all..." Before he could finish, Azlan cut him off, his voice laced with a controlled fury. "No, Dad. This is a private matter. Let us handle it." Even in the heat of his emotions, respect for his family shone through. He may be a ruthless businessman, but he wouldn't disrespect his father, the one person he truly valued. However, on this issue, he was determined to have his way. Ignoring everyone, he marched towards his car, grabbed her arm, and ushered her into the passenger seat. Without a word, he started the engine and sped away.

Two families. Two legacies. And a hatred between them. The Rizvis were elegance, charm, and influence. The Qadris were power, discipline, and fear. Where one smiled, the other scowled. Where one thrived, the other struck back. Their rivalry was no secret-it was written in the walls of their mansions, whispered in every high-society gathering, and carried in the eyes of their heirs. And then fate intervened. Anya Rizvi, soft, bubbly, and full of life, never imagined her world would collide with Mahid Qadri, the strict, cold, and feared heir of the Qadri family. A marriage-unexpected, unexplained, and unavoidable-bound them together. Enemies by blood. Thrust together by destiny. What happens when fire meets flame? When hate clashes with attraction? And when the line between love and war becomes impossible to see?

They were once everything to each other. Now, they can barely stand to be in the same room. Izaan Mirza - cold, calculated, and dangerously composed - built an empire from the ruins of betrayal. Aira Rehmani - brilliant, guarded, and heartbreak-hardened - rebuilt her life in silence, carrying wounds she never chose to explain. Once childhood sweethearts, now business rivals, their paths collide again in the unlikeliest of ways - a high-stakes partnership neither can refuse, and a forced proximity that threatens to expose every scar they spent years burying. But behind sharp words and colder glances lie unanswered questions, shattered trust, and a love that never quite died. This is not a story of forgiveness. It's a story of broken people, unfinished conversations, and what happens when your past walks right back into the room... wearing the face you never stopped loving.

"And you must be one of the famous Kareemi daughters. The one who talks 'nineteen to a dozen,' if the rumors are true." Hazal narrowed her eyes. "If the rumors are true, then you should know I don't have time for vague outsiders. I have a wedding to attend and a plate of kebabs with my name on them." She began to walk away, her emerald skirts rustling, when his voice stopped her. "I'm Zain," he said. "And for what it's worth, the ceiling is a structural issue. Don't just patch the plaster; check the drainage on the terrace." Hazal paused, looking back over her shoulder. He was still watching her, his expression unreadable. There was something in his gaze-not the dismissive glance of the man from her past, but a focused, intense recognition. It was the look of someone who saw exactly who she was. "I'll keep that in mind, Zain," she said, her voice steady despite the sudden racing of her pulse. As she vanished back into the crowd of her boisterous family, the "snowball's chance in hell" she had felt that morning suddenly felt a little more like a spark. The monsoon clouds were still heavy above Mumbai, but as Hazal found her mother in the crowd, she felt a strange, electric sense of possibility.

"Okay, I've been letting you slide long enough, Aya. He threw his hands up, frustration tightening his voice. "Why are you so angry at me? What did I do was so bad for you to not even look at me?!" The way he raised his voice made my chest tighten. I know I've been rude to him but I wasn't used to him yelling at me. I wasn't prepared for how much it hurt. "Do you even remember what happened in high school?" I looked up blinking back tears. Yusuf rubbed his beard trying to remember but got nothing. He frowned as he shook his head. "High school was a blur," he murmured. "After my parents died, I don't quite remember much and what I did in the past." He explained, so quietly that I almost didn't hear him. "Let me refresh your memory, you know your friends Joe and Alex? They used to picked on me, made fun of my weight, push me against the lockers, and calling me names. And what did you do?" I turned around, back facing him, as tears stream down my face. I didn't want him to see me cry. I couldn't. "You just laugh, as if it's the funniest thing in world, as if I was a joke to you! You didn't stop them, not even once." My voice cracked as I wiped away my tears. Yusuf was speechless, he didn't know what to say. I didn't expect him to. I just wanted him to know how much pain I was in ever since the day he walked back to my life. Aya Rayaan is a 20 year old girl who is in university and trying to be close to her deen. She got bullied for her weight when she was younger and one of the guys was Yusuf Abbas. Yusuf Abbas is a 22 years old and is an orphan. His parents died in a fire and he's been drifting ever since. When he moves in with Aya's family, unaware of their shared history, Aya is forced to confront the pain she thought she buried. He doesn't remember her but she remembered everything. As their paths cross again, will the past drive them further apart? Or bring about a chance for healing, forgiveness, and unexpected growth?
