After the events of MXTX's novels, Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe are relaxing outside when an unnatural storm strikes. After the storm passes, each pair finds something, something that makes this whole adventure possible.

Note that there will be some bashing for Jun Wu, Heavenly Court, and others, but not Hua Chēng, He Xuan, Shi Qingxuan, or Xie Lian. Unbeknownst to Nie Huaisang, someone who Wei Wuxian really didn't want to see again. And completely untouchable. "Wait, no- that's completely unfair- Nie Huaisang please- PLEASE"

A group of juniors starts a secret gardening club. Wei Wuxian crashes it. He brings cursed potatoes, chaotic compost, and somehow gets the carrots to grow in the shape of rabbits. Lan Wangji says nothing... except to quietly plant one beside his own lot. Wei Wuxian wins "Best Plant" and makes an acceptance speech no one asked for.

Wen Ning gets popular for accidentally filming aesthetic "zombie-core" content. He gains 3M followers by silently staring into the camera while stirring porridge. Wei Wuxian becomes his chaotic manager. Lan Wangji is forced to hold a ring light. Someone starts a fan theory that Wen Ning is immortal. They are correct. No one believes it.

After a week of screaming upon waking up, he finally accepted in despair that he was not dreaming, and he was in MDSZ novel universe (or is it?). He determined to not die like Wei Wuxian, prevent tragedies and change the future. The first time Lan Wangji met Wei Wuxian, they fought on the roof. When he dreamed of the cliff scene and felt the sorrow and regret of losing someone he loved while watching helplessly at the falling figure, it plagued his mind greatly. He became even more disturbed when he noticed Wei Ying's changes. The two became close. Really close. Together, they planned to save the world and while they were doing just that...
