A little 10 year old girl, who pretty much is gonna die from cancer, it's near New Years, that day is New Years Eve. Something happens though and during that there will be small bits and pieces of her past, showing her past life and how she would forever cherish them. She knows she is gonna die, the thought scares her but she's accepted it. On New Years Eve which is the present day, (the story starts off like a week before news eve but the majority of the story is based on that one day cause you will learn lots of her.) on new eves she escapes the hospital. She wanted to get out of the hospital. She was following or had been having dreams of what she believes to be her guardian angel in the shape of a deer. She escapes the hospital and she is trying to find it, which just leads her to the place she is to die. While through this one day event, it is stretched out and just simply your shown the life of poor 10 year old child. Also spoiler the only reason the girl is dying, is because her family didn't have enough money to do an operation to remove the cancerous tumor that is in/near her lungs. Now it's attached to her left lung. Even though they did a fundraising to try and earn money for her they still couldn't. They would donate much because they didn't trust them because one mistake her father made. Although it was a simply mistake and he should be forgiven. Some people did forgive him but not enough for they're to be enough donations for that operation. The parents pleaded for another option to save their child, whom name is Lucille (Lucy), but sadly it is too late for anything to be done. Lucille refused radiation and chemotherapy. Basically you and all readers who read this story will be able to learn about the 10 year old and what she does, sees, and says during her last week of life.

A young woman gets diagnosed with a new deadly disease. What she doesn't expect is to be torchered by it the medication the doctors give her only make the pain feel worse! How will it end is there never going to be an end
