This story takes place 20 years later, when Max & Fang find each other again. But they're not the same people they used to be. Actually, no one is. Everyone has changed in the past 2 decades. Especially Max. They've all been living their lives, moving on, or trying to, from Fang. But Max has had the most trouble. She's changed to the point where she's no longer the strong, bold Maximum Ride everyone knew and loved. So what's going to happen now that Fang is back? It may not be the happily ever after everyone expects. There are some major MAJOR complications that Max, Fang, Dylan, and the flock have to struggle to deal with. So tell me, who's side are you on? FAX or MYLAN?

Maximum Ride is about to set out on the experience of a lifetime: high school. Max thinks she's all in it alone at her new school when a group of students take her under their wings. Literally, saying that this school is strictly bird-kids only. Max and her new flock, as they call themselves, must figure out how to navigate high school, relationships and fathers coming back from the dead and try not to make too many enemies along the way.

Dylan is a smart loving boy who dearly misses Zach. But, for some reason, Dylan has a photographic memory and that is showing him from the things that happened 2 years ago when he just lived with Zach and Courtney. Later, he also recognized one of the ghost kids. But one of them was Milo, the leader of the ghost children. He soon visits Dylan after a long time but, it turns out he's in love with him. (This is a continuation of this book because I couldn't log into my other account! Enjoy this!)

But I'd be totally cool with everyone else in this fandom being all "FAX 5EVER!" if Dylan atleast got a little respect! So that is why I am writing this. Ship: Milo x Dylan { Based off of the movie franchise 'Sinister' } ~*Collaberation*~ Dylan starts to have nightmares and see visions of violent murders and malicious children, but one in particular seems to haunt him. He dreams of a church and dead bodies lying in a circle around a boy; a young spirit named Milo. Milo, a servant to the demon Bughuul, has a mission. A mission to corrupt Dylan. He knew from the beginning that Dylan would be hard to recruit, but he never imagined how Dylan's will power and resistance would make him feel envious, make him miss being human. He feels a rift forming and is starting to doubt everything that he knows. Milo feels like he doesn't have the same power to refute Bughuul as Dylan does. He knows that the chain has never been broken before.... ..... and it never will be....

This is a one-shot side story to my other Maximum Ride fanfiction called "After All These Years". You can read it on its own, if you like, but I'd love it if you read it along with (preferably before) reading "After All These Years". It's about a deal that is made between Dylan & Max, well really, it's almost a bet. If Fang really does return, then nothing. But if he doesn't then... I'm not gonna spoil it because that's really the only thing that happens in this story xD I may continue with it instead of keeping it a one-shot because some people on FanFiction.net asked me to, but I probably won't unless more people want me to.
