Mystery Spell has no idea what hit them thats what.(I do not own the backgrounds of the Mystery Spell characters or their personal backgrounds just the MC and random characters Ive thrown in.) I'm trying something new so enjoy, my absense is from my kids being ill off and on for months no Covid thank the gods and goddesses that be!)

After a wildfire that took everything away from her, Layla Vanderveer moved into Mystery Spell in hopes of forgetting the pain that continues to haunt her. Layla was gifted, but could not see her own worth. Medicine took over most of her life before that fateful day. After she failed to save the people she loves, she deemed herself unworthy to call herself a medic. She never believe in magick, but performs them for the sake of her mother. After death took her mother away, Layla stopped practicing permanently. Despite her knowledge in healing, Layla swore never to partake in any of the medical practices. Her psychological torment was unbearable and often resorts to self-harm. Despite of making new friends, she swore to never fall in love. Her life changes when she has to take a class that is part of her major's requirement... Can Layla learn to accept herself, overcome past traumas and conflicts in love interest? There is self-harm, suicidal attempts, burned victims, assaults, and psychological issues.

My own version of "Is it love? Drogo" with same bases but different twists. Hope Smith, a decent girl, volunteer herself as an "Au pair" for "Lorie Bartholy" to forget her past, and start her life with a family. However, things didn't go as planned and she founds herself in a swamp of mysteries. This is my first story book so if you like it votes and comments would be appreciated.
