She notices what she shouldn't. He notices her anyways. In a quiet coastal village left off most maps, Kage has learned how to live between glances. She bakes bread before dawn, helps run a market stall by midday, and leaves offerings to the Old Gods out of habit rather than belief. She knows the world is larger than mortals are meant to understand, but like everyone else, she has learned that keeping your head down is safer than asking questions. Then the dreams begin. Strange, vivid dreams that leave her restless. Flickers of light she cannot explain. Moments that make her wonder if she is imagining things, or finally noticing what has always been there. When Kage is summoned to a neutral institute watched by powerful forces, she finds herself surrounded by heirs, warriors, and figures who seem certain of what they are meant to become. She is not. Among them is Kaleen, an heir of the sea who keeps his distance and watches her with open distrust. He is disciplined, guarded, and clearly aware of rules she does not yet understand. Where others dismiss her, he notices. Where she questions, he withdraws. Their interactions are restrained, uneasy, shaped by tension rather than trust. But proximity has a way of eroding certainty. As old powers stir and the balance of the world begins to strain, Kage must decide who she is willing to become, and whether the shadows she carries exist to hide her... or to protect something far more dangerous than she ever imagined. © Anne Starks. "Before legends are carved in stone... they are forged in storms, in blood, and in choices no child should ever face." The tale begins on the night the skies themselves broke open-when a celestial-dark storm bled light and shadow over the Solarium Bastion. In its wake, the Order of Luminar discovered an infant wrapped in silver cloth... and a newborn dire wolf pup curled against him, refusing to be moved. That child was Divuad. That wolf was Freya. And destiny had already bound them tighter than soulsteel. Raised within the sacred halls of the Order, young Divuad trains, struggles, and rises through the ranks as strange powers awaken beneath his skin-powers even the Elders whisper about behind closed doors. Freya, once a small silver pup, grows into a fierce guardian, sensing every flicker of the ancient force that stirs within her bonded companion. As shadows creep across Aurelion Crestfall, Divuad faces the horrors no Initiate should ever confront: Lower Abyssal entities stalk the wilds, secrets buried beneath the Solarium itself, and the prophecy that hints he may be the final thread between salvation and oblivion. With Freya at his side-fang, fury, and loyalty incarnate-the boy steps onto a path far larger than his years. This is not merely the story of how a hero is born. It is the story of how the last of an ancient lineage begins to awaken. If you dare follow his footsteps... then open the pages. The storm is only beginning. - Odric Shadowrend Ranger. Chronicler. Watcher of the Riftborne's rise.

Vädrion is a vast, ancient world built on the living architecture of roots, magic, and forgotten divinity. At its dawn, three Primordials shaped creation itself Väthar the Protector, Kaelvyr the Creator, and Ruinmar the Destroyer. From their essence rose the Loyal Eight, divine beings who nurtured dawn, moonlight, healing, forests, oceans, craft, fate, and peaceful death. But betrayal shattered the world. The Rebel Gods usurped creation, rewrote history, and plunged mortals into ages of lies. When the long-buried Rootspire finally rose again, prophecy awakened and truth returned. Across continents, kingdoms, bloodlines, and lost races, the Convergence reshaped reality and rebalanced the forces of magic, nature, and mortality. Now restored by the Nameless One's choice, Vädrion enters the Age of Balance an era where Primordials, gods, mortals, and all living things must share the future together. Vädrion is a world of ancient language, living roots, divine history, mythic wars, and new beginnings. It is a setting full of stories yet to be told. This is a worldbuilding concept, not a complete story. Vädrion is an open setting designed for writers, novelists, and TTRPG creators who want to build their own tales within it. Feel free to transform, expand, or reinterpret any part of this world. Let me know if you enjoy it and want more. If you want, I can format this like an introduction page, a preface, or a TTRPG-style overview.

The Moth's Path is a tale of memory, loss, and self-discovery. When Elara was five, her father gave her a silver moth pendant and a lesson she never forgot-moths may seem fragile, but they always find their way through the dark. Years later, standing at the edge of the mysterious Forest of Whispers, those words echo in her mind as she follows a flickering silver moth into the unknown. Haunted by the past and searching for answers, Elara ventures deeper, confronting the silence of the forest, the weight of old wounds, and the presence of a cryptic Guardian. Along the way, she must decide whether she is chasing the truth-or being led toward something greater. As she unravels the mystery surrounding her pendant, her father's legacy, and the truth hidden within the Cavern of Reflection, Elara realizes that her journey was never about reclaiming what was lost. It was about who she would become. A beautifully woven story of resilience, grief, and transformation, The Moth's Path is a journey through light and shadow-where even in the darkest places, something new can take flight.
