Since the disappearance of the gods, the world has been split between the humans and the faeries, with only the Arcane as peacekeepers. Even after centuries of separation between the two races and the Arcane becoming less fae and less powerful, the mixed bloods remain respected and feared by those who wish to reinstate the war. And none are more feared than the Elemental Arcane. Possessing a strong connection to one of the four major elements, these rare souls arise once every few centuries whenever a major shift in the world is about to occur. It's been many generations since an Elemental has been seen, but a new Arcane has arrived with fire in her veins. Sometimes I've found November is the time of year when things begin to feel heavier. Small issues are bigger than they should be. The weather isn't sure what to do, so it settles on overcast.
