Hazel and Isaac go on the trip of a lifetime so they can find the missing pieces of Gus' version of AN IMPERIAL AFFLICTION. Along the way, Hazel finds herself seeing the true beauty of the world, and she comes to terms with the loss of Augustus.

Left. Right. Kick. That's pretty much all Jay had to do to knock his opponent out. Everyone at Trackstar High School knew that if you ever saw Jay walking down the street and you stare at him in the wrong way you know your a total goner. No question about it. The only thing about Jay is no one knows who he really is. To everyone he's just the best street fighter out there but everyone knows that someone from Trackstar high is Jay, they just don't know its the schools nerd.

West High School. The only safe place in the apocalypse. "... what is it? Do you hear something?" "Get down!" 29 Middle and High School Students, trapped inside. But they can't stay there forever. The power in most places is out and the provisions won't last. "... We'll need to scout the outside." Ebony, the main leader and Leilani (because stage crew won't listen to anyone else) have to try and figure out how to keep things running. "Have you seen him?" "Not since two days ago." Things only progressively get worse. But they have to try and pull through. All of them.
