She was running late to her job as a nurse at Bellevue Hospital, when the first plane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:45 a.m on September 11, 2001. Shocked by what she saw, she stopped to help all of the victims she could. Marcus Reynolds was a fireman who witnessed the first attack while out hosing off a firetruck. He was the first one into the North Tower where his sister, Kate, worked, and one whose heroic tendencies may harm him more than help him in this situation. Kate Reynolds had just filled up her coffee cup when first plane hit two floors above her. The ceiling was crumbling, glass was everywhere, and she managed to find Jakob, her slightly more than co-worker, and the two try as hard as they can to get out of the building before it's too late.
