I'm going to try to lose 100lbs this year!!! I weighed myself today and the number on the scale slapped me in the face I am 212 lbs!! I am going on a journey to get skinny and hopefully stay that way or maybe even keep losing weight I don't really know yet. I know that this is like the typical New Years Resolution and I say it ever year but I don't actually do anything or change anything, but this year is going to be different. I graduate high school in 5 months(July)and then start college in January of 2024. I want to go into college a new person and down 100lbs.

Jake is 30, lazy, and proud owner of the world's most indented couch. Sarah is 32, organized, and convinced she can fix him-one ridiculous New Year's resolution at a time. From fake dates with his own sister to marathon training via Netflix, follow these siblings as every attempt at self-improvement spirals into hilarious chaos. New episodes every week. Adult sibling comedy at its most relatable (and pathetic). If you've ever made a resolution and failed spectacularly... this is for you.

"This was it. No-one could deny that I, Helen Wersel, was about to achieve the feat of completing my New Year's Resolution on the very first day of the New Year. I looked at my crush, who was standing at the edge of the Coscep Public Swim Centre lap pool, wearing nothing but board shorts and a tan you could spread on a waffle and eat with maple syrup. Talking to your crush for the first time was hard, it seemed. So, maybe you could deny it. But only a little. Well, maybe a lot." A Short Story | For @TeenFictionCommunity's Writing Contest Number 8: New Year's Resolutions. Word Count: 915 The cover is way too serious and grown-up for this story. XD The New Year's Resolution: Talk to her crush. ;)
