Nico was a soldier in the U.S. army, ranking General, before he was caught in an explosion. He was wounded to the point of being relived of duty, and when he was healed enough he moved to London. While in London he met a young woman named Rose Tyler, who helped him recover from the war. What happens when these two run onto a mystery Doctor?
