Luna "Loony" Lovegood had never really fit in. In the muggle world, she was stranger than strange came: bleached blonde hair, a voice soft as silk, and a peculiar tendency to send objects flying around the room and bullies crashing to the ground. After the unfortunate loss of her mother and the introduction to a world of magic and spells, the curious Luna believed she would finally feel welcome in a place where the quirks that had once casted her out as "weird" became daily life. That . . . wasn't exactly the case. Nevertheless, Luna Lovegood was used to being alone. She was used to being left out, and called names, and made fun of, but with a entire school of possible excitement and newfound friendships, her world is bound to be twisted in ways the frail blonde never even thought imaginable. ******AUTHORS NOTE******* While the title may be slightly misleading, please refrain from expecting as much romance as I may have suggested. Though I am hoping to tie friendships between Luna and the boys in this book, as my story generally follows the events of the first novel (and, yes, I am aware Luna is a year under Harry, but sometimes I have to switch things up, alright? cut me some slack!), I happen to find trouble portraying a compatible love story between a pair of eleven year olds, you know? Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy my story!

Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood have been friends for two years. Neville has had feelings for Luna for all that time, and he confesses so before the Battle of Hogwarts begins. He tells her that if she has feelings for him too, to let him know if they both survive the battle. They do survive, so what does Luna tell Neville? Yes or no? Will they finally start dating after two years of knowing each other, maybe live their lives together? Or will they not get together, and live their lives in misery of lost friends and family in the battle? Can they mend what has been broken by this terrible event?

Draco and Hermione. Harry and Ginny. So many ships and yet we never write about this obviously perfect one, right before our very eyes. It has to do with a odd duck named Luna Lovegood and a shy fidgety boy named Neville Longbottom. ----- I never thought father's advice about boys ever made sense. Stay away from them he always said, they are always trouble. But I never listened. I have always been great friends with a many boys. But none of them were ever Gryffindors. None of them were ever shy. None of them were as odd as me. None of them were named Neville Longbottom. Until a few years back when I met him from Ginny. Now I only have Gryffindor to rely on.
