According to Hermione, "he's always... just there," as people don't accept him back. Feeling bad for him, just in the middle of his isolation, Hermione becomes friends with him. As Hermione finds herself with Draco most of the time, Ron has time to himself. Feeling lonely Ron makes a huge mistake. They also recall memories of past encounters and explore their point of view. If only they knew how the other felt about them. When this story mentions past events, they could be book canon, film canon or headcanon, meaning that I mention past film events that weren't in the books, book events that weren't in the films or I've put my own spin on some events. If having a mix between them is something that could bother you, I wouldn't recommend this book. There are also emotional moments in the story that are a result of PTSD, nothing too bad. But one really never could. That being Harry James Potter. Why? And How? Well you are cursed with the agony beyond all others once every 24 hours. This curse was placed on him by Voldemort himself right at the time of his death as his failsafe if he lost. Thus leaving Harry to fight as a wounded soldier to ensure Voldemort doesn't return through the curse. Through Harry's luck, he wasn't some ordinary mage that would probably die in a month. Harry's Magic grew its strength through the pain and adopted causing many inheritances to happen every single day. It's just that left him very weak and barely able to cast magic afterwards. Since it was every day Harry silently grew weaker and stronger at the same time in the unbearable agony while hiding it from nearly everyone else besides his family. And so Harry went through this constant pain for nine years with his family while raising Teddy, Albus and Lily. That will all change very soon.
